Today is the day that my album, 'Better Late Than Never', is released on my Frith and Dean Imprint and is available exclusively on Bandcamp for now due to digital distributor TuneCore identifying a track as AI and therefore blocking it from streaming platforms… AI clearly doing its worst work here.
It is £4 to download, or pay more if you wish. I hope you enjoy it.
I have squeezed in some fun Gigs, 3 nights at the Pizza Express, Dean street with Sax supremo Eric Marienthal, closing out this Season of Mick Crook's The Jazz Mix in Southend with Thunderthumbs, a great Reach For It, the George Duke Tribute Gig at the Pizza Express with the wonderful Mary Pearce guesting and my debut with the Van Morrisson Alimni Band in Bridport.
Recent Studio dates have been at Metropolis Studios playing on 5 tracks for the legend that is Van Morrison, a session for top composer Chris Egan for a new animation film. Some tracks for the forthcoming Cat In The Hat move for Chris and Lorne Balfe and some home Studio action, tracks for a C-Beebies Show Playtime Towers for Dave Reynaud and several great songs for my Local Suspects buddy Michael Armstrong.
Also a fusion workout for the amazing guitarist Pete Callard for which I played Bass and synth bass, joining the brilliant Mike Smith on drums on this
